Parents

Workshops for friendship groups.

Gather a few friends whose children are a similar age, choose the topic that matters most to you and Lorraine will run the session for your group.

Lorraine Lee leading a workshop for a group of parents around a table at home

Parents often get the most from a workshop when they are in the room with people they already trust. A small group of friends looking at the same material together, especially when their children are a similar age, can be honest about what is really happening at home, ask the questions they might not ask in a bigger room and carry on the conversation long after the session ends. Because everyone is working on the same topic at the same stage, the strategies get used, and the group keeps each other going.

What to expect

  • 1. Get in touch

Tell Lorraine roughly how many of you there are, the ages of your children and what you would like to cover. A quick message is enough to start.

  • 2. Shape the session

Together you settle on the topic, the length and the date, so the session is built around what your group actually wants rather than a fixed programme.

  • 3. Meet and share the cost

The group funds the session between you. It can take place in someone's home if there is room, or online if that is easier.
